Privacy & your enquiry

Updated September 2026.

Using the free information

You can read our guides and use the eligibility check without providing your name, email or phone number. Questionnaire answers are saved in your browser so you can return to them. “Start over” clears these saved answers.

When you request a review

We collect the contact details, postcode, preferred contact time, optional project notes, questionnaire answers, result and consent record you submit. Tiny Home Guru Oz uses these to check suitability internally and manage a possible builder introduction. Project advice and discussions take place directly with the builder.

One builder, with your consent

We review enquiries ourselves first. If suitable and a builder is available, we may share your contact details, project answers and optional notes with one builder only so they can contact you about your project. Builders pay us for referrals. We do not distribute your enquiry to multiple builders or add you to a marketing list. If a different builder is needed, we will seek fresh consent before sharing again.

Service providers and records

Netlify hosts this website and processes submitted forms. Enquiries may also be delivered to our email service. These providers may process information outside Australia. We keep enquiry and referral records as needed to manage requests, maintain consent records and meet applicable obligations. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for those purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw consent before a referral or raise a privacy concern. If information has already been shared, we can identify the builder and help you contact them about their records. Some records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations.

Website technology

Information pages retain the Meta Pixel for website visits and advertising measurement. Meta may receive technical visit and interaction information under its privacy terms. The eligibility questionnaire does not load this pixel, and this site does not send questionnaire answers or contact fields to it. You can control cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through Meta. The former checkout has been removed. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. Hosting providers may retain technical security logs.
